Welcome to the Calgary Lawn Bowling Club!

As a member, you are joining one of the fast growing and most progressive clubs in Canada. Our aim is to provide a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for everyone, regardless of age, ability or background. Your membership dollars go a long way:

• You will have access to our growing inventory of bowls sets (many recently purchased from Australia and Scotland) and all the equipment you need to have an enjoyable game (rakes, jacks, mats, measures, etc.)

• Lessons are included from certified coaches to help you quickly advance your game, whether you want just the basics or are considering becoming the next candidate for the provincial Alberta Development Squad

• We encourage you to try our different league nights, our Saturday afternoon Jitney, our morning drop-in sessions, and all the other special events and fun club tournaments throughout the season (Details of which are included in this welcome package)

• Have children aged 9 years or older? We have Calgary’s only Youth Bowling Program

• Your voice matters and you are encouraged to attend our twice per year General Meetings, volunteer on any of our many Committees, or consider joining our Board of Directors

• Join us at our Annual Awards Banquet and other off-season events

• We hope you invite family, friends and colleagues to drop-in or rent our entire facility at steeply discounted rates

• As an AGLC licensed facility, we offer beverages at very reasonable rates – let us know your favorites and we’ll try to stock it
